Support FAQ
How do I import my resume?
Open the Resume tab and choose Import. You can pick a PDF or DOCX from your Files app, or paste plain text. Dossier extracts the text and structures it so it can be reviewed and tailored. Your resume stays on your device.
My JD analysis failed or timed out. What now?
Analysis needs an internet connection. If a request fails, check your connection and try again — most failures are transient. If it keeps happening, email us the approximate time it occurred so we can look into it.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not inside Dossier. On iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancel there and you'll keep Premium until the end of the current billing period.
I restored my phone / got a new device — how do I get Premium back?
Open Dossier and use "Restore Purchases" on the upgrade screen. Your subscription is tied to your Apple or Google account, so it will be restored once you're signed in with the same account you purchased on.
Does interview practice work offline?
The voice components — reading questions aloud and transcribing your answers — run entirely on your device and work offline. Generating a fresh set of questions for a specific job requires a connection.
How do I delete my data?
Everything Dossier stores lives on your device. Delete individual applications, your resume, or transcripts from within the app, or remove all data at once by deleting the app.
Can I use Dossier on a computer?
Dossier is a mobile app for iOS and Android. There is no desktop version — it's designed for the phone you have with you during a job search.
